We played this at Thanksgiving and my uncle got a card that basically described him word for word — the whole table lost it. The "characters" setup makes it easy for everyone to jump in, even my cousins who usually bail on board games.

My sister got called out as the phone-scroller within the first ten minutes and hasn't recovered since. The character cards nail every family dynamic, especially the unsolicited-advice one that's basically my uncle. Thanksgiving is going to be chaos.

We've played this twice already and both times my sister-in-law got called out for her phone addiction—the card prompts hit way too close to home. The game moves fast enough that even my dad, who usually zones out after ten minutes, stayed engaged the whole time.
